1 - Reflection on Previous I Search Experiences (due Thur, Mar 15)
1. What are some of the previous research projects you have done?
I have done the labyrinth project this year, the Babylonian project and in sixth grade we did another I-Search on Problems With Society, in sixth grade I also had a prohject about Dwight Eisenhower.
2. Based on these projects, what does research mean to you?
It means looking at a computer or book untill you have recieved enough information to say that you know about the topic.
3. Describe one of your research successes or failures. Why was the experience positive or negative?
At the beginning of the year when I did a project with Jared on the Babylonian Empire. I think it was a success and it was a very positive experience because I learned alot about the Babylonians. Entry 2- March 15, 2007 2 - Reflection on Webbing Process (due Fri, Mar 16)
1. I think the webbing process helped/did not help me find a topic because:

Reflections on Pre-Notetaking - for homework (due Tue, Mar 20)
1. Describe how the pre-notetaking sheet helped you find both focus for your topic and research questions to investigate. Did you find it easy or difficult to create a fat question from your ideas?
It helped me generate two fat questions. I think making fat questions was easy and not hard for me to do. I t helped me also make many skinny questions for each of my two fat questions. 1. What have I learned today?
Thay Alexander The Great is not respected by many people today because thaey say that he was very barbaric.
2. What problems have I had?
It is hard to find anything on the wars he had or the phalanx, all I find is material on The Hellenistic Period.
3. How will I overcome the problem(s)?
By using advanced searches and Boolean words
4. What will I do next?

1. What have I learned today? About the campains and battles and seiges of Alexanders life.
2. What problems have I had? All of the problems I had yesterday were solved and I don't have any today.
3. How will I overcome the problem(s)? I don't but I solved yesterdays problems by getting a book and using the index and the appendixs.
